Labor Day Picnic
Last evening our church had a picnic at the park in Lancaster.
Several families were not able to come... But we still had fun.
We invited the family of the one young guy from church.
He is in his early 20's and just recently became a member at our church.
Some of us sort of new some of his family but not very well.
It was a nice chance to meet them.
Novalee giving Sawyer a swing ride.
Morgan (Novalee's youngest girl) playing in the sand of the volleyball court
Some of the young girls visiting!
Jay (the new young guy) teasing Kaitlin and Cecilia from the top of the slide
We had brought two washer board games
the youth played washerboard, volleyball and Softball.
more washerboard
the ladies chatting before supper
Darin & Dad were in charge of grilling all of the burgers!
Fred & Ronnie discussing life!
Food and visiting!
Tanya peeling carrots
We had homemade icecream for dessert.
There were actually 5 freezers needless to say we did not eat it all.
Looks like the men found something funny to laugh about.
All in all it was a good night! A little cold maybe but fun.
As you can see we have a wide variety of people at our little church
Good food and good fellowship!
